Kybella’s® unique active ingredient is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is found naturally in the human body and helps with the breakdown of fat. We inject Kybella® directly into the excess fat below the chin, destroying the fat cells to help you achieve a slimmer, more sculpted profile. Most patients start to see results within 2-4 sessions. Once the fat cells are destroyed, they are gone for good.
Kybella® is an FDA-approved injectable that can non-invasively and non-surgically contour the submental region, removing an unwanted “double chin”. Off-label, it can also be used to minimize fat deposits along the jawline. Kybella® is made with deoxycholic acid, which when injected, metabolizes the fat cells, destroying them so that they never return.
