Concerns Addressed by Morpheus8

With Morpheus8 in Phoenix, you can achieve firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin by targeting deep layers of the dermis. This innovative treatment addresses:

Safe For All Skin Types

Skin types Fitz I-VI can be treated without worry of any side effects or pigmentation. Whether you’re the skin type that always burns or if you tan very easily, Morpheus8 is safe and effective, with lasting results. The benefit of Morpheus8’s color-blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated.

Pro-Nox Pain Management

Pro-Nox is a patient-controlled pain management system that is similar to inhaled “laughing gas”. It is available for our in-office Morpheus8 procedures and takes effect in seconds. It is also short-lasting, so one can drive 5-10 minutes after the procedure. Pro-Nox offers immediate relief of pain and anxiety to create a more calming Morpheus8 experience. Be sure to ask our provider how to obtain your Pro-Nox treatment on us.

What Can I Expect After a Morpheus8 Procedure?

Following a procedure for Morpheus8 in Phoenix most patients can anticipate being back to normal activities within 24-48 hours. Minor swelling, redness, and soreness in the treatment area is not uncommon but should not interfere with your daily routine. Some patients may experience temporary bruising.

Tiny scabs may also appear on the treatment area, which should not be scratched. Itching at the site of the treatment can start immediately or several days to weeks following a Morpheus8® procedure as the tissue continues to heal and repair itself. It is important not to scratch the area but use an anti-itch regimen recommended by our provider.
Skin sensitivity and dryness can be expected for 1-2 weeks following the treatment. It is important to use a daily moisturizer and to apply sunscreen while outdoors to prevent damage to the healing skin.

FAQ

Morpheus8 Burst by InMode is the latest evolution of radiofrequency (RF) microneedling technology. It combines ultra-fine microneedles with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and elastin beneath the skin while improving skin texture, firmness, and overall skin quality.

Unlike traditional microneedling, Morpheus8 delivers controlled RF energy below the skin’s surface where collagen remodeling occurs. Burst technology allows multiple tissue depths to be treated during a single needle insertion, making treatments more efficient while addressing several layers of tissue at once.

This is probably the most common question we hear.

Morpheus8 is the original radiofrequency microneedling platform developed by InMode.

Morpheus8 Burst is the newest generation of the technology. Instead of delivering radiofrequency energy at one fixed depth, Burst delivers energy across multiple tissue depths during a single insertion, allowing more comprehensive collagen remodeling with greater efficiency.

Burst Deep is designed specifically for larger body areas that often require deeper tissue remodeling. It is commonly used on areas such as the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, stretch marks, love handles, and loose body skin, while Morpheus8 Burst is typically used on the face, neck, jawline, and other smaller treatment areas.

Burst is InMode’s newest platform and includes technology that was not available on earlier Morpheus8 systems.

Whether it is “better” depends on your goals and the area being treated, but Burst provides providers with additional flexibility by allowing energy delivery at multiple tissue depths during a single insertion.

Today, many devices advertise “RF microneedling.”

Not all RF microneedling devices are created equal.

Needle design, software, energy delivery, safety features, and treatment customization vary significantly between manufacturers.

If you’re comparing providers, ask which platform they use. Morpheus8 is a proprietary technology developed by InMode.

Morpheus8 is commonly used to improve:

  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Acne scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Uneven skin texture
  • Mild to moderate skin laxity
  • Sun damage
  • Mild jowling
  • Stretch marks
  • Loose skin on the body
  • Certain cases of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Treatment recommendations are customized based on your anatomy and goals.

Yes.

Morpheus8 works by stimulating new collagen and elastin beneath the skin, helping improve firmness and skin quality over time.

It’s important to understand that Morpheus8 is not surgery. While many patients notice significant improvement, it does not produce the same lifting effect as a facelift. Instead, it provides gradual, natural-looking skin remodeling.

Yes.

RF microneedling is commonly used to improve the appearance of acne scars by encouraging collagen remodeling beneath the scar tissue. Most patients require a series of treatments for optimal improvement.

Yes.

Stretch marks on both the face and body may improve through collagen remodeling and improved skin quality. The number of treatments depends on the severity and age of the stretch marks.

Many patients notice smoother skin texture and less noticeable pores as collagen production increases and the skin becomes firmer.

It can.

Patients with mild to moderate skin laxity along the jawline often experience improvement. During your consultation, we’ll determine whether Morpheus8 is likely to provide the result you’re looking for or whether another treatment would be a better option.

Yes. The neck is one of the most common treatment areas. Morpheus8 is frequently used to improve crepey skin, mild skin laxity, and overall skin quality.

Absolutely.

Depending on the area being treated, Burst Deep may be recommended for larger treatment areas including:

  • Abdomen
  • Arms
  • Thighs
  • Knees
  • Buttocks
  • Stretch marks
  • Loose skin

One of the biggest reasons patients choose Morpheus8 is because the results typically develop gradually.

Rather than adding volume or dramatically changing facial features, Morpheus8 stimulates your body’s natural collagen production to improve skin quality over time. Most people simply notice that your skin looks healthier, firmer, and more refreshed

This is one of the most searched questions online.

Treatment depth, radiofrequency settings, facial anatomy, and provider experience all matter.

When treatments are properly customized, providers select treatment depths and energy settings based on your anatomy and aesthetic goals. This individualized approach helps achieve natural-looking rejuvenation while avoiding unnecessary treatment in areas where volume preservation is important.

Most patients describe the treatment as uncomfortable rather than painful.

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to improve comfort. We also offer ProNox (laughing gas) for patients who would like additional comfort during their procedure.

During treatment you may feel warmth, pressure, or brief moments of increased intensity depending on the treatment area.

Plan on approximately 90 minutes.

Most of that time is spent allowing the topical numbing cream to work. The actual treatment typically takes around 20 minutes, although this varies depending on the treatment area.

Most patients experience redness similar to a sunburn for several days.

Some swelling, skin sensitivity, roughness, or light peeling is also common while your skin heals.

Downtime varies depending on the treatment intensity and the area treated.

Some patients notice early improvements within a few weeks.

However, collagen remodeling continues long after treatment. Most patients see their most noticeable improvements two to three months after completing their recommended series.

Every patient is different.

Many patients benefit from two to four treatments spaced approximately four to six weeks apart. Patients with more significant skin laxity, acne scars, or body concerns may require additional treatments.

Results vary from person to person.

Many patients choose maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months to help maintain collagen stimulation and continue improving skin quality.

Yes.

Unlike many laser treatments that primarily target pigment within the skin, Morpheus8 delivers radiofrequency energy beneath the skin’s surface. Because RF energy does not target melanin in the same way many light-based devices do, Morpheus8 can generally be used safely across a wide range of skin tones, including Fitzpatrick skin types I through VI.

Morpheus8 may be used to help improve excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) of the underarms, hands, and feet by reducing overactive sweat gland activity. In some cases, it may also be combined with other treatment options depending on your needs

Good candidates are generally looking to improve skin quality, texture, firmness, acne scars, stretch marks, or mild to moderate skin laxity without surgery.

The best way to determine whether Morpheus8 is right for you is through a consultation where your provider evaluates your skin, anatomy, medical history, and goals.

Pricing depends on the treatment area, treatment goals, and the number of sessions recommended.

Smaller treatment areas may start around a few hundred dollars, while comprehensive body treatment packages may be several thousand dollars. During your consultation, we’ll provide a personalized treatment plan and exact pricing based on your goals.

Traditional microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production.

Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered beneath the skin’s surface, allowing collagen remodeling to occur at multiple tissue depths. This combination can provide improvements in skin tightening and remodeling beyond what microneedling alone is designed to achieve.

They treat different concerns.

Laser resurfacing primarily targets the surface of the skin, while Morpheus8 focuses on deeper collagen remodeling beneath the skin.

For many patients, one treatment may be more appropriate than the other, and in some cases they may even be used together as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

No.

Morpheus8 is an excellent non-surgical treatment for improving skin quality and mild to moderate skin laxity, but it cannot reproduce the lifting achieved with a surgical facelift.

For patients who are not ready for surgery or who want to delay surgical intervention, Morpheus8 can be an excellent option.

Before your treatment, your provider will review detailed preparation instructions with you, including skincare products to temporarily discontinue and steps to minimize irritation. After treatment, it’s important to follow your post-care instructions carefully, protect your skin from sun exposure, avoid makeup for the recommended period, and use only the products recommended by your provider while your skin heals.
