Dr. Dominique Sabas, NMD, is a licensed naturopathic physician who specializes in physician-supervised medical weight loss and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). She believes the best healthcare begins by understanding each patient’s unique health history, lifestyle, and goals, allowing her to create personalized treatment plans that produce lasting results.

Dr. Sabas has a strong passion for preventive medicine and metabolic health. Her research background includes studying the gut microbiome and its relationship to obesity, nutrition, chronic disease, and immune function. She has researched microbiome changes among Southeast Asian immigrants adapting to life in the United States, the effects of nutrition on graft-versus-host disease in transplant patients, and diet-induced inflammation of the intestinal lining. She is also a published co-author on intestinal inflammation research.
Her passion for research continues to influence her clinical approach, allowing her to combine the latest scientific evidence with compassionate, individualized patient care.
Dr. Sabas believes healthcare should be collaborative, educational, and personalized. She takes the time to understand each patient’s complete health picture, empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their care.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Sabas enjoys strength training, kickboxing, and visiting local farmers markets. She enjoys spending time with her rescue dog that adopted her family and a flock of Silkie chickens.
